Tasty Tuna Cakes
Serves: 4
  • 2 cans chunk light tuna in olive oil
  • ¼ cup brown rice crumbs
  • 2-3 tbsp parsley
  • 2 green onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp no salt seasoning
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Dijon mustard (optional)
  1. Drain the oil completely from one can of tuna.
  2. Drain almost all of the oil out of the second can of tuna.
  3. Put tuna in a medium size mixing bowl.
  4. Add the brown rice crumbs, parsley, no salt seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, and the green onions.
  5. Mix together.
  6. Using your hands form patties.
  7. Turn your pan on to medium heat.
  8. Add the coconut oil.
  9. Once coconut oil melts add the tuna patties.
  10. Flip very carefully every 2-3 minutes cooking on medium low.
  11. Cake will become nice and golden brown when done.
  12. Turn pan to low and cover.
  13. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes to make sure tuna is warmed thoroughly.
  14. Pair with Dijon mustard for a little kick.
