I love walking in the countryside and over the last few months going out for a long walk was just about the best way to spend time and get some exercise done at the same time. The only problem with me and walking is that I always get really hungry to the point having a massive ‘swoon’ (as my husband calls it) when my energy levels drop really suddenly and I have to eat.
For those moments, I like to carry my own supercharged snacks, which are high in protein, fat and low on carbohydrates and sugar. Here is my favourite list, including recipes you can find on my blog.
