black tea leaves

milk
or cream (regular or plant based)
1/2
cup
water
1/2
cup
ice cubes
1/2
cup
tapioca pearls
1
tablespoon
honey
or sugar
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil and add your choice of tea leaves.
Continue to simmer the tea for 5 minutes (little less, depending on how strong you like your tea).
Pour the tea through a sieve and measure out about 1/2 cup per portion.
Add the taro powder to the hot tea and stir until it's dissolved.
Add the honey or other type sugar of your choice.
Add the milk and mix in.
Add the tapioca pearls.
To cool down the tea, add the ice cubes or pour the tea over them in a large tall glass.
Add a thick straw or a long teaspoon and enjoy your drink!
