My favourite list of super simple and healthy snacks to grab on the go. Have these ready and then you don’t need to worry about what to take with you to work or a walk in the countryside.
Many of these snacks can be prepared in advance and either frozen or stored in the fridge for when you need them.
My criteria for healthy snacks on the go
- Easily portable (either on their own or can be made into a portable container
- High in protein
- Low in sugar
- Low in carbohydrates
- Gluten free or using heritage or wholemeal flours
